fog house

olgiata, roma (italy) - 2008

ph. : luigi filetici

The morning mists and the landscapes of the adjacent golf course inspired by the geometries and strict net of a four-family villa outside Rome, cropped to a buyer eager to get closer to a contemporary language, although with respect for the materials used in the place.

The four units are grazed according to a geometry cross, drawing different types for consistency and views, albeit in a matrix material and language.

The pitched roof is a different expression to the same shot of the water, facing the inside of the building, as if to deny the vision statement, only to turn out, however, in the most usual at the back, drawing the porch overlooking the pool.

Wooden walkways leading from the doors to the individual units, thus constituting the only foreign material palette, restricted to the use of brick and stone.
