The desire to give a new interpretation to the outdoor spaces of a seaside villa in Fregene, near Rome, triggers the construction of a swimming pool and related services.
The garden, darkened in time by an extensive tree plantations and some wooden pergolas made in the 90s, no longer lived from the property, as well as the terrace on the first floor, reached by a staircase located at the back of the house.
It was decided then to a drastic reduction of lawn areas in favor of the inclusion of a swimming pool and the adjacent sun terrace, to be connected directly with the terrace located on the first floor by a spiral staircase; here is place an appendix to the moments of leisure and relaxation, set up with table tennis and sun beds.
Which color choice you opt for white, used in the floor and in the realization of the scale, whose railing is particularly expressive value, managed as a single tape gently 'washed' by sunlight.
The intervention, albeit partial, with a few simple elements of the project can give new life to an existing reality.
