"ero già bella"

Roma - (Italy)  2026

The decision to move the kitchen closer to the beautiful veranda that defines the living area, thereby creating two bedrooms in the remaining space, is the defining feature of this small penthouse situated opposite one of the villas designed in Rome in the 1930s.

The corridor, which divides the house horizontally, effectively becomes the focal point of the home, characterised by the green-painted false ceiling and the wallpaper covering the long wall that connects the sleeping area with the living area.

The kitchenette thus opens onto the living room, the bathroom is situated between the two bedrooms, whilst a partition almost central to the master bedroom separates the sleeping area from the wardrobe area.

Wood completes the palette, used in the furnishings and the parquet flooring of the sleeping area, to balance the overall colour scheme of the home: green is undoubtedly the star of the project, visible through the windows in the beautiful park surrounding the house, but above all present in the numerous architectural features that, like a musical passage, punctuate the home.
